Greg served as transportation planner for the 1 Oak project, a major tower at a prominent intersection.  Like his previous project nearby at 2001 Market, Greg saw the opportunity for 1 Oak to reconfigure the intersection to create a pedestrian plaza for public benefit.  Greg convinced the developer to include the plaza as a component of the tower, and after extensive negotiations and design reconfigurations regarding truck, tour bus, refuse collection and emergency vehicle access, the circulation design was settled.  The developer then retained a respected design firm to create a world-class plaza.  What was previously an inhospitable environment will now be a celebrated destination.
